1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
Food coloring ( colors of the rainbow)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter, egg and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Divide dough into 6 balls. Add a different coloring to each ball. Roll each ball into a snake. Form a rainbow by making ark shapes ( semi circle) and pressing them down on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes.

Remember that you can make all the colors of the rainbow using red blue and yellow.
Red and yellow makes orange
Blue and yellow makes green
Red and blue makes violet
