1/2 c, shortening
1 c, sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. cocoa
large marshmallows, cut in half
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar; add egg, vanilla and milk. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes in 350 degree oven, DO NOT OVERBAKE! Remove from oven and press half marshmallow cut side down on top of each cookie. Return to oven and bake 2 minutes. Cool. Frost with chocolate frosting.
