2 tablespoons butter
About 1 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Small amount of hot water

Directions:
1. Beat with electric mixer adding a few drops of water at a time until frosting is the right texture for decorating. Make slightly stiffer than needed if adding food coloring.
2. Lay out cookies on cookie sheet and decorate. Decorations should dry enough in about 24 hours to put in cookie tin.
