1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
5 to 6 cups of flour
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, milk and extracts. Blend in flour and baking powder until well mixed. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 350º until light brown on edges.

When cool, ice with frosting made with powdered sugar and milk and sprinkle with colored decorating sugars. Let set until dry.
