! cup Margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, powdered sugar, baking soda, and cream of tartar together. Add vanilla, almond extract, and egg, then continue creaming. Slowly mix in flour. Chill dough (covered in fridge) for at least an hour if possible. Roll and cut out shapes. Cook in preheated oven @ 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Cool and frost!

Notes:

1. You may be tempted to add extra flour, but don't. Just chill and roll out.

2. Since each oven is different I suggest you check them after 6 minutes and watch closely to see when they're done so they don't get overcooked.
