1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp poppy seeds
jam

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, egg yolks & vanilla
Beat until light, low speed
Add flour, salt, and poppy seeds
mix well (chill several hours)
Shape into one inch balls
Put on ungreased cookie sheet
Press center with thumb

Bake 12 to 15 min. at 375
