3/4 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
1 egg
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup chopped raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine, brown sugar and applesauce together. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Set aside. Add egg to mixture and stir. Stir dry ingredients into the applesauce mixture. Drop by spoonfuls on to lightly greased cookie sheet. Top cookies with raisins and nuts before baking at 375º for 10 - 12 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before putting on wire rack.
