2 1/4 cup flower
1 tablespoon soda
1 cup margarine
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1- 31/2 oz. package instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1- 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2 1/4 cup flour, 1 tablespoon soda, and set aside. Cream together 1 cup margarine, 1/3 cup sugar, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla, and 1- 3 1/2 oz. package of instant vanilla pudding and 2 eggs. Add flower mixture, mix well and add 1- 12 oz. package of chocolate chips and 1 cup of nuts if desired. drop into ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 375 degrees' for 9-9 1/2 minutes until golden brown.
