Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup molasses
2 2/3 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 350
Cream butter until soft
Gradually add sugar, soda and molasses
Continue creaming until fluffy.
Stir in flour, blend well
Chill dough several hours.
Knead on lightly floured area until soft enough to roll with out cracking.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick
Cut into desired shapes.
Bake 10- 15 minutes
Cookies should remain light in color

I make these for Christmas, frost as desired.
