1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Using an electric mixer beat butter until light and fluffy. Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in egg, vanilla and almond extract. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Chill at least one hour. Roll dough on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut out. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350ºF for 8-10 minutes.
Ice or decorate as desired.
