3 cups sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup cold water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar, corn syrup and water in pan until sugar is dissolved
Cook to soft ball stage
Beat egg whites until still
Add half of the syrup mixture of the egg whites and beat until forms to hard ball stage
Add the rest of the syrup mixture gradually
Add vanilla and continue to beat until candy is thick enough to drop from a spoon to a buttered platter
