2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1/4 c cocoa
1 stick butter
pinch of salt
1/2 c crunchy peanut butter
1 t vanilla
3 c quick cooking oats
Wax paper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cocoa, milk, butter and salt together in a medium saucepan. Cook on medium heat until boiling. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal, continuing to stir. After all is blended, about 5-7 minutes, drop quarter sized balls on wax paper. Serve immediately.

Helen was the Judicial Assistant to Judge Dan Vaughn when I worked in Ft. Pierce. These cookies were her very favorite as a child and were made by her next door neighbor, Wayne.
