1 c. oatmeal
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
4 oz. pizza sauce (or tomato sauce with oregano and garlic salt added)
3/4 c. mozzarella cheese
desired toppings (chopped-up ham, cooked hamburger, onion, mushrooms, pepperonis, etc.)

Preheat oven to 425 º.
Blend oatmeal in blender for 1 min. then add to mixing bowl, with flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix together. Add milk and oil and blend together well. Grease fingers with butter or spray hands with baking spray, to keep dough from sticking to them. Form dough into a ball and smash with fists in a bowl 10 times (or knead on a floured surface 10 times). Press onto a greased pizza pan. Bake for 12 to 15 min. Remove from oven. Spread with sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Add additional toppings and return to oven for 10 more min.
Makes 1 pizza.

Mom (Grandma Carraher) got this recipe from an oatmeal cookbook after moving to Florida, so not a recipe we grew up with, but one my family and I learned to love.
