Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Buns:
3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 pkgs. (4 1/2 tsp.) instant dry yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Stickie Topping:
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 Tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Buns: In a large mixing bowl, measure 1 1/2 c. flour. Add yeast; blend. In medium saucepan measure milk, water, butter, sugar, and salt. Stirring constantly, heat until warm (120-130º F). Pour into flour yeast mixture. Add egg. Beat 1/2 minute at low speed, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 minutes on high. By hand, gradually add remaining 1 3/4 cups flour, mixing well. Scrape down batter from sides of bowl & cover. Let rise in warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. While dough is rising, prepare topping.

Stickie Topping: In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over low heat until butter melts. Drop topping by tablespoon into well-oiled muffin cups. Stir down batter. Drop by tablespoon into prepared muffin cups; cover. Let rise until batter reaches top of cups, about 30 minutes.

Bake at 375º F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool one minute, then invert pan onto wire rack covered with waxed paper. Yields 24-30 stickie buns.

Tip: Place pans on foil or cookie sheet to guard against spillovers in the oven. If you do not have enough muffin pans to bake all at once, let remaining dough rise while first batch bakes. Stir down again before making second batch.
