1/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup white baking chips or white chocolate chunks

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars until crumbly. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, salt and baking soda. Gradually add to butter mixture and mix well. Stir in cranberries and chips. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 1 minute before removing.
