1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
3 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, oil, vanilla and eggs. In separate bowl, blend flour, salt and soda then fold into creamed mixture. Add oats 1 cup at a time. Mixture will be very stiff. Bake on parchment paper 350º F for 10-12 minutes.

This is a favorite recipe from my grandmother, Ida Lehmann Schneider. I have such fond childhood memories of eating these cookies and cinnamon rolls at her house.
