First bake 2 pans of cornbread. When cooled place one pan in the warming oven on the cookstove. Place the other in the pie safe so the Grandkids to sneak in and out of the side door and eat in the afternoon.

About 5:00 pm. pour up two glasses of sweet milk, take the reserved pan of bread from the warming oven, crumble bread into your glass of milk, pick up your spoon and enjoy a nice country supper! (From one who knows)
