2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter flavored shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 T. milk
3 c. corn flake cereal
1 c. raisins
1 c. coconut flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, alternating with the milk. This will be stiff. Stir in by hand the corn flakes. Add the raisins and the coconut. Put cookies on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Makes a great breakfast treat!
