1/2 C shortening
1 egg
1/2 C white sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 C crushed pineapple with syrup (8 1/2 oz)
1 1/2 C oatmeal
1 C sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 C nutmeats

Directions:
Combine shortening and sugars together until fluffy. Beat in egg and pineapple, then add remaining ingredients. Drop by tsps. on greased cookie sheet and bake @ 375º for 15 minute or until brown.
