Brownie:
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups light brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips - mini
1 cup flour

Cookie Dough:
3/4 cup butter - room temperature
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips - melted to drizzle

Prepare Brownies:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray 9 x 13 nonstick pan. In a medium bowl, melt chocolate in the microwave in short bursts of 30 seconds, stir and remove when smooth. Let cool slightly. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter and brown sugar, add eggs and vanilla and whisk together. Mix in melted chocolate and whisk in the flour combining all ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread into pan and bake for 25 to 35 minutes. Let cool completely.

Prepare Cookie Dough:

In medium bowl use electric mixer to combine butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Mix in milk and vanilla and flour just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Spread cookie dough over the cooled brownies. Refrigerate until the dough is firm. Drizzle with chocolate and caramel. Cut into squares and serve.
