2 egg whites
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites and salt until they hold a stiff peak. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Fold in dates, nuts & vanilla. Drop from teaspoon about an inch apart onto a well greased cookie sheet (or on parchment paper). Bake at 250º for 45 minutes.

Can be doubled.
