1/2 C. margarine or butter
1-1/2 C. graham cracker crumbs
1 (14-oz) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Condensed Milk
(NOT evaporated milk)
1 C. (6-oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-1/3 C. flaked coconut
1 C. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350º (325º for glass dish).
In 13 X 9-inch baking pan, put margarine in pan and melt in the oven. Sprinkle crumbs over margarine; pour Condensed Milk evenly over crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients; press down firmly.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

Original recipe called for canned coconut, but I'm sure you could substitute packaged. The canned might be a bit moister, though I'm not sure what the difference is.
