• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup shortening
• 1 egg
• ½ cup molasses
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 ½ tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and molasses, beat until fluffy
2. Mix in flour, salt and baking soda until combined. Add vanilla and oatmeal until mixed.
3. Scoop onto lined sheet and bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes
