1/2 c soft butter
1/2 c shortening
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp lemon extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 eggs (well beaten)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening and flavourings. Add sugars and eggs. Beat well, add dry ingredients. Combine well. Chill dough over night wrapped in wax paper. Cut in 1/8" slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 F for 8-10.
