3½ cups flour
½ tsp. soda
½ tsp. cream of tartar
2 cups sugar
1 cup softened butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flaked coconut
Directions:
Directions:
Stir flour, soda, and cream of tartar together. Beat sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients, mix until combined. Stir in 1-cup coconut. Shape into balls. Roll in coconut and place about 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake @ 350ºF for 15 minutes.
