4 c. Oats
2 c. Flour
2 c. Sugar
1 c. Shortening
1 c. Walnuts
1 c. Raisins
2 tsp. Baking soda in 1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Before starting, warm raisins, then add nuts and part of oats to keep them from sticking together and grind in food processor then add to rest of oat mixture.

Put oats, flour, sugar, nuts, and raisins together, mix well. Add melted shortening and water with baking soda, and mix well. Set aside for 3 hours or longer.

Roll the size of walnuts. Bake at 350º.
