1 c. butter, softened
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oats
3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325ºF.

In a large bowl cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla. In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt, and oats together. Slowly mix into butter mixture. Add chocolate chips. Drop by tsp onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown (8-15 minutes) depending on shininess of cookie sheet. Remove from oven and let cool 2 min on sheet to set before removing to continue cooking.
