1 stick margarine
1 C sugar
1 egg
1 C of dates (cut into small pieces)
2 C Rice Krispies
1/2 C finely chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
Flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Over low heat, in a large saucepan, cook the first four ingredients for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat. Add 2 C of Rice Krispies, walnuts and vanilla.
When cool enough to handle, roll into balls (about a rounded tsp each) and then into coconut.
