1 cube + 2 Tbsp. butter (not margarine). Softened but not melted
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 bag or 1 cup of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars well. Add egg and vanilla and cream for 4 minutes. (Put the timer on because the 4 minutes is the secret to making this cookie good). Add flour, soda, salt and blend mixture. Stir in chocolate chips to taste. Use parchment paper on cookie sheets. Bake at 375º and cook for about 10 minutes.
