Ingredients: Fruit filling ingredients: 2 cups of fruit 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup-1 cup of water 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
Crust Ingredients: 1 cup all purpose flour 1 Tablespoon baking powder 1 cup sugar 1 cup milk
1 stick of margarine to be melted in 9 x 11 Pyrex dish

Directions:1. Melt 1 stick of margarine and pour into a 9 x 11 Pyrex dish. Set aside 2. Preheat oven to 325
Fruit mixture directions:
1. Mix all of the ingredients in a small sauce pot and bring to a boil on high. 2. Remove from heat and set aside.
Crust directions:
1. Stir all of the dry ingredients together, blending well. (flour, baking powder and sugar) 2. Stir in milk until mixed well. 3. Pour crust mixture over the melted margarine in the Pyrex dish. 4. Spoon or pour most of the fruit mixture over the crust mixture; reserving a little of the juice to pour over baked cobbler, just in case it gets too dry. 5. Bake in preheated oven on 325 for app. 20 minutes or until golden brown. 6. Remove and place on cooling rack. 7. Pour the reserved fruit juice around the edges or where there is no crust. |
