Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I once asked Grandma if she had a recipe for biscuits made with oil instead of shortening. She sent me this recipe and said she had used it a lot. Fast and easy. She was such a good cook and I learned a lot from her, She was an amazing woman.
Grandpa and Grandma Richter were married about 1941-42 and this picture is of their wedding day. Not sure who the children are, but I believe them to be Grandma's niece and nephew. Must have been a family wedding and perhaps this was their going away photo. I am sure they were married in church because they were both devout Catholics. Too bad we don't have a photo of Grandma in her wedding dress.
