2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp.salt
1 c.sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla 1 T cream or milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the egg and cream, Gradually add the flour mixture until all mixed together.
Chill the dough for about 2 hours
These can be rolled out to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into shapes. Bake for about 3 minutes.Open the oven and brush beaten egg whites on each cookie then return to open until lightly browned (about 5-7 minutes)
