1 c. butter
1 c. w. sugar
1 c. Br. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2.c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. rolled oats
1.c. flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugars, mix in eggs & vanilla. Stir in flour, soda & salt.
Gently mix in oats & coconut.
Lightly roll into small balls & place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Flatten with fork that’s been dipped in water to 1/4 to 3/8 inch thickness.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. (yes, 400 degrees!)

I find that the first batch takes the 12 minutes in my oven, but the remaining 2 batches only take about 10 minutes, so watch them!
