1 1/2 C Sugar
1 TBSP Shortening
1 1/2 C Sour Cream
3 Eggs
3/4 C Milk
1 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Tsp Baking Powder
3 C Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Nutmeg
1 !/2 C Oatmeal (may be omitted, but add a little more flour)
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 C Raisins * Optional

Directions:
Cream together Shortening and sugar. Add eggs, oatmeal and raisins. Add salt, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg and cinammon then add flour and milk a little at a time.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 min on greased cookie sheet.
