1 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 heaping tbsp icing sugar
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until light. Stir in flour gradually. Mix well. Take out of bowl and knead 10 to 15 times. Let rest 1 hour at room temperature(this improves flavor). Shape dough into 1 inch balls; flatten. Dip in beaten egg white, then in nuts or coconut, or cool in fridge 1 hour, slice and put a cherry on top. Bake at 350º for 15 to 20 minutes.
