1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
2-1/2 c. regular oatmeal, process very fine
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. brown sugar
1 4oz. hershey bar, grated
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1-1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

1. Measure oatmeal and blend in blender or food processor
2. Cream butter and both sugars
3. Add eggs and vanilla
4. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda
5. Add chocolate chips and grated chocolate and nuts if using
6. Roll into 1" ball and place 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet
