CAKE:

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten


FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 tbsp. oleo
6 oz. chocolate chips

Grease and flour a 10 x 15 jelly roll pan. Combine all ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. While baking, prepare frosting.

FROSTING:
In small saucepan, combine sugar, oleo and milk. Boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over partially cooled cake. Cut into bars to serve.
