1 cup chocolate flavored malted milk powder
1 cup sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup milk
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Cover a greased cookie sheet with waxed paper and grease again. Sift together malted milk powder, flour, baking powder and salt. Work butter or margarine until soft, add sugar gradually and continue working until mixture is creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla vigorously. Stir in the malted milk powder mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Last of all stir in nuts. Drop dough from a teaspoon onto cookie sheet, spacing about 3 inches apart. Bake 12 minutes, remove from baking sheet and cool.
