Ingredients:  
Toast 2 cups of hazelnuts in oven until fragrent
Once out of the oven if they have skins rub between a teatowel to extract the skins.
Then process nuts until finely ground (you can buy ground hazelnuts, just toast and use)
Mix in 2 cups flour
In a bowl
Mix
1 lb butter
2 cups sugar
Mix until fluffy
Add
3 egg yolks
2 tsp vanilla
Mix
Add
Flour with ground hazelnuts
Then
2 cups more flour
Mix
Scoop onto parchment lined cookie sheet press down lightly
I often 1/2 the recipe
