1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 cup walnuts
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and pineapple. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda, then add to mixture. Mix well and add nuts. Drop by teaspoonful on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
