2 C sugar
2/3 C white corn syrup
2/3 C water
1/2 C butter or margarine
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
6 quarts popcorn
1 1/2 C crushed cashews

Directions:
Directions:
Boil all ingredients except vanilla and popcorn to 230 degrees for the candy and 234 degrees for popcorn balls. Add vanilla (and broken up cashews for candy) to syrup mixture. In a greased bowl or pan put in popcorn and pour syrup over the top. Mix well. Form into balls or pour out flat on big cookie sheets or waxed paper.
