Cake ingredients:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
1 c. water
1 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 t. vanilla

Icing ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. + 2 T. evaporated milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1 box 10X sugar
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
For cake: Combine flour, sugar and baking soda. Set aside. In saucepan, add water, butter and cocoa, bring to almost boiling, stir all the time. gradually stir in milk, eggs, vanilla and flour mixture. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9" baking dish. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Just before cake is done, mix icing:

In saucepan, bring butter, milk and cocoa to boil. Stir in sugar, return to a boil. While stirring (off heat), add vanilla, stir until glossiness disappears (3-5 minutes). Pour over hot cake.

Scott loves chocolate so I use this as his birthday cake. The icing is so good, you hope there will be extra!
