1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups flour (maybe a little more)
1 tsp cream of tarter
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Roll into balls. Make a depression in the middle and fill with jam or place a walnut in it. Bake at 350º for 10-12 min until golden brown. Makes about 60 cookies.

Sometimes I would make these just because they remind me of my mom. Then I would have to eat them all. I really got to like them.
