1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 c. dates, finely chopped
1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix condensed milk and lemon juice. Add vanilla and wafer crumbs and mix well. In a separate bowl mix together the dates and nuts. Sprinkle wax paper with confectioners sugar. Lightly roll or pat condensed milk mixture on sugared paper into a flat rectangle. Spread nut and date mixture evenly over and roll as for a jelly roll. Wrap in wax paper. Chill 6-8 hours. Slice.
