1 cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups brown sugar, packed
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups crispy rice cereal
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or nuts, chopped
1 cup coconut flakes or dried cranberries, cherries or raisins
1 cup quick oats

Preheat oven to 350º. Cream the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the cereal, nuts, coconut and oats. Drop by tablespoon, 2" apart onto baking sheet. Flatten with a form, forming a criss-cross pattern (do not flatten if you're using chocolate chips or dried fruit). Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly browned.
