4 1/2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 lb unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add the dry ingredients, 1 cup at a time ,alternating with milk and vanilla, beating well after each addition. Wrap and chill dough for at least one hour.
Divide dough into 4 pieces. Roll 1 piece at a time to a 1/8" thickness and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until just browning at the edges.
