1 can Crushed Pineapple
4 Eggs, separated
1 can Evaporated Milk
1 stick Butter
2 ½ cup Sugar
⅓ cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
5 tsp Cornstarch
2 Tbsp powdered Sugar
pinch of Cream of Tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter and milk in pan, melt, stir in egg yolks. In separate bowl add dry ingredients, stir into egg mixture. Add pineapple bits and cornstarch and stir. Boil until thickens. When thick pour into baked pie shells. Beat egg whites with 2 tbsp powdered sugar until stiff, add cream of tartar to make egg whites stiff. Put on pies, and brown @ 400° for about 5 min.
