Soup bones: marrow and broth meat bones
Beef cubes
Salt and pepper
1 #2 can crushed tomatoes
1 large onion, chopped
2 or 3 carrots, chopped
2 or 3 stalks celery, chopped
1 large bag frozen mixed vegetables
Rice, cooked (not instant)

Directions:
Into a large pot, put 1 1/2 quarts water. Add soup bones and beef cubes. Cook
for 2-3 hours (bring to boil, then cook slowly). Skim as necessary. Season with
salt and pepper. Remove all bones and remove meat from broth bones. Return
meat to soup. Marrow from marrow bones should remain in soup. Add canned tomatoes and all other vegetables;cook until tender. When soup is done, add cooked rice. this soup is delicious served with hot, crusty bread. It freezes well.
