Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
1 1/2 tspns baking powder
6 TBspns butter
1/3 cup of crisco

FROSTING:
1 bag of confectionery sugar
1/4 cup water 3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 TBspn milk
1 tspn vanilla
1/3 cup shortening (crisco)
Vanilla to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Stir flour and baking powder together in one bowl. In another bowl, beat butter and shortening for 30 seconds. Add sugar and beat til fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla til blended, then add dry ingredients slowly. Put aside.
Roll out small portions of dough to about 1/4" thick. Dust with flour as needed to keep dough from sticking too much. Then cut out dough using x-mas cookie cutters for your shapes and bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 6 to 8 minutes in a 425 degree oven. Let cool. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to decorate. (I recommend not trying to roll, cook and decorate all on the same day).

Steps for Frosting:
Mix all ingredients together with a spoon or electric mixer until at desired consistency
Color frosting with food coloring (I split up frosting to have up to 4 different colors). Decorate cooled cookies with frosting and assorted sprinkles.

Bake at 425º For 6-8 Minutes
