Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups thawed Cool Whip
12 Oreo Cookies, coarsely crushed

Ganache
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on package in 2 (9-inch) round cake pans. Cool in pans 5 minutes. Invert onto wire rack; remove from pans. Cool completely.

Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping and crushed cookies. Place one of the cake layers on serving plate, top side down. Spread top of layer evenly with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer, top side up. Spread ganache over cake.

For the ganache:
Place the cream in a small heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring. Meanwhile, place the chopped chocolate in a large mixing bowl. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted. Stir in the vanilla.

Let ganache stand at room temperature for 4 hours or chill it until it thickens and is spreadable.
